GDP needs no introduction in California — Granddaddy Purple is the strain that made purple famous. Big Bud crossed to Purple Urkle, born in the Bay in the early 2000s, and still the reference point every 'purple' strain gets measured against twenty years later.
The legend
Before GDP, purple cannabis was a curiosity. After GDP, it was a category. The Big Bud side brought size and yield; Purple Urkle brought the color and that unmistakable deep-grape perfume. Very few strains genuinely changed the culture. This is one of them.
In the pull
Deep grape front to back — sweet, full, with a soft earthy finish. No tricks, no plot twists, just the definitive grape profile executed as strain-specific live resin. If you learned what grape weed was from GDP flower back in the day, the cart will feel like a reunion.
How it runs
The original heavy indica experience. Full-body calm, slow evenings, early nights. Respect the classic and clear your schedule.
Formats
Carts only this run — and consistently one of our fastest movers statewide.
Where to find it
Globs is found in dispensaries statewide across California. Pull up the map to find GDP near you, or keep digging through the archive. In the same lane: Sour Graps.
