White Widow is classic resin-heavy pine and earth with a sweet, peppery edge. One of the most famous strains ever bred, and in live resin the frosty, sticky character it is named for turns into a jar full of diamonds.

Lineage

Brazilian Sativa × South Indian Indica, the Green House cross from the mid-nineties. The Brazilian side brings the energy and the pine; the South Indian indica brings the resin production and the earthy, peppery base.

In the jar

Fresh pine and wet earth, a sweet floral note in the middle, and black pepper on the finish. Pale, crystalline sauce with a sharp, resinous nose.

How it runs

Balanced and sociable. Lifts the mood and keeps the head clear, with enough body to take the edge off. A good any-time-of-day sativa.
